Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 28 June 2026 · Prepared with reference to the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), EN 301 549, and WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
1. Our Commitment
OrbitAlert is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and the harmonised European standard EN 301 549, and we continually work to improve the accessibility of our platform.
2. Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML and ARIA attributes where appropriate to support assistive technologies.
- Keyboard navigability for interactive elements.
- Sufficient colour contrast in our dark-theme interface, tested against WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Responsive layouts that adapt to zoom and a range of screen sizes.
- Accessibility considered as part of our design and development review process.
3. Conformance Status
OrbitAlert is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content may not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and remediate any gaps.
Our service is directed at businesses and professionals (B2B). Certain advanced data- visualisation components (for example, orbital pass timelines and space-weather charts) present information that is inherently visual; where feasible we provide equivalent data in accessible tabular or textual form.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain. Third-party components embedded in our service (such as the authentication interface and payment forms) are provided by external vendors, and their accessibility is outside our direct control although we select vendors with strong accessibility track records.
5. Feedback & Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of OrbitAlert. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information from our platform in an alternative format, please contact us:
Email: legal@orbitalert.net
Subject line: “Accessibility”
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 10 business days. Your report helps us identify and prioritise improvements.
6. Enforcement Procedure
If you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility feedback, you may contact the competent supervisory authority in your jurisdiction. In Greece, the market surveillance authority responsible for the European Accessibility Act may be contacted for complaints regarding the accessibility of digital services.
